Omega Mart
Phil explores the experimental and immersive art installation Omega Mart. Art collective Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart is like a supermarket from an alternate universe, featuring fully stocked shelves of bizarre and hilarious products. This is a great place to explore and immerse yourself in their one of a kind exhibit.

Esther’s Kitchen
Phil has lunch with his son Ben and his daughter-in-law DeLaney at Esther’s Kitchen. Chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen as a tribute for his Aunt Esther, and his Italian restaurant has become a beloved favorite of the arts district. They enjoy a delicious meal of mussels with nduja butter, cauliflower alla romano, and chicken parm sandwiches.

Maverick Helicopters
Phil takes a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon! Just a five minute ride away from Vegas, you start off with a stunning aerial view of the strip, fly over the Hoover Dam, and then make a descent into the Grand Canyon.

Milpa
Phil meets journalist Maria Silva for brunch at chef DJ Flores’s Mexican restaurant Milpa. This hidden gem located fifteen minutes off of the strip has become a local favorite, and is serving some of the best Mexican food around. Delicious birria and asada tacos, chilaquiles, and beautiful homemade tortillas make Milpa well worth the trip away from the casinos.

Cirque du Soleil
Phil gets a tour backstage of a Cirque du Soleil show, and even finds a part for himself to play! These incredible acrobatic performances have been some of the most popular shows in Vegas since they started in 1993. If you’ve never been, you should definitely make time in your trip to see one of their many unique shows.
Luv-It Frozen Custard
Phil treats some of the Las Vegas Culinary Union members to some frozen custard at Luv-It Frozen Custard. This shop has been a Vegas favorite since 1973, and its creamy custard has kept locals and tourists coming back for decades.

Phil grabs some hand-pulled noodles at Big Dan’s Shanxi Taste. Operated by brother and sister Daniel and Dan, this James Beard Award nominated restaurant is serving incredible authentic Xi’an food in the corner of a chinese supermarket.

Tofu Tees
Phil meets up with Kumei Norwood at her store, Tofu Tees. Located in Fergusons Downtown (a former motel transformed into a trendy retail space), Tofu Tees was founded by Kumei when she was just 8 years old! Tofu Tees sells artfully designed merchandise with strong social messages, and they also organize neighbors to prepare food for the less fortunate in the area. Don’s Prime
Phil has a classic steakhouse dinner with his friends and former coworkers Ray Romano and Brad Garrett at Don’s Prime, located inside the beautiful Fontainebleau Hotel. They share a roasted seafood platter, some lobster mac and cheese, and a gorgeous tomahawk ribeye. This decadent restaurant is the perfect place for a celebratory meal.

Best Friend
For his final meal, Phil brings his LA lunch crew and all of his new Vegas friends to Roy Choi’s restaurant, Best Friend. Fun cocktails and Korean food, this restaurant is not only delicious, it’s also one of the most exciting places to eat in Vegas! Make sure to try their uni dynamite, one of their signature dishes.
